Welcome to Pepples, a professional graphic design platform built for Indian small businesses. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the policies, procedures, and responsibilities associated with using our services. By engaging with Pepples, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please refrain from proceeding with our services.

1. Overview of Our Services

At Pepples, we offer creative support to businesses through a structured and dependable graphic design process. Our services are delivered through professional freelance designers vetted for quality, reliability, and business understanding. We do not operate as a marketplace or software platform; instead, we act as a managed creative service partner.

Service Models

We offer three main engagement plans:

  • Dedicated Designer Plan – Regular, ongoing creative support
  • On-Demand Access Plan – Pay-as-you-go task-based design work
  • Single Project Plan – One-time assignments with clear deliverables

Each plan is personalized and initiated only after consultation with the client. This model ensures maximum alignment between the creative output and the client’s unique business needs, providing not only flexibility but also strategic consistency in design communications.

2. Payment and Pricing Structure

No Predefined Checkout or Auto-Renewals

We do not offer standard product-style purchases, nor do we operate on automated subscriptions. Our focus is on custom service delivery. Each project begins only after:

  • A detailed discussion of client requirements
  • Finalization of a custom quote
  • A mutual agreement signed or acknowledged by both parties

This approach gives clients full control over scope and expectations while also fostering a trust-based working relationship that respects timelines and budgets.

Advance Payments for Single Projects

For Single Project Plans, clients are required to make an advance payment ranging between 25% to 50%, depending on project complexity and scope. This upfront commitment secures resources and blocks production time. The specific advance percentage is mutually decided and documented within the agreement.

Flexibility with Transparency

We believe in absolute pricing clarity. That’s why:

  • There are no hidden costs or surprise charges
  • Final pricing is approved in writing before any task begins
  • Payment terms, timelines, and deliverables are outlined in an agreed-upon scope of work document

3. Scope of Work and Delivery Timelines

Clear Briefing and Task Flow

Success in design execution depends heavily on the clarity of the initial brief. Clients are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible — including references, brand assets, target audience information, and any functional or stylistic expectations. The more comprehensive the input, the more accurate and effective the output.

Delivery Commitments

  • Typical design tasks are delivered within 1–2 business days
  • More complex tasks (like pitch decks or packaging) may take 3–5 business days
  • Delays due to client-side dependencies (like approvals, missing content, or indecision) are not counted within turnaround timelines

Timeliness is a two-way street, and while we commit to rapid turnaround, consistent communication and prompt feedback from clients are critical.

4. Revisions and Creative Approvals

What Counts as a Revision?

Revisions refer to reasonable, brief-aligned modifications such as changes to color schemes, image swaps, layout tweaks, or minor content corrections. They are meant to fine-tune the design, not completely rework it.

What Doesn’t Count?

  • Drastic changes to the original brief post-delivery
  • Introducing new design directions or multiple alternate versions that were not part of the agreed scope

Our goal is to maintain quality while preserving efficiency. We encourage clients to group their feedback wherever possible and avoid piecemeal inputs that slow down production.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

  • Final, approved deliverables become the sole intellectual property of the client after full payment is received
  • Pepples retains ownership of all preliminary drafts, mock-ups, and unused concepts unless explicitly agreed otherwise

Usage Rights

Clients gain full rights to use, reproduce, or publish the approved designs across all platforms. However, Pepples reserves the right to showcase completed projects in portfolios or promotional materials unless a non-disclosure request is submitted.

6. Cancellation, Refund, and Pausing Policy

Cancellations

You may cancel any service prior to its commencement. If cancellation occurs after work has begun, the refund or adjustment amount will depend on the work already completed.

Refunds

  • Full refunds are granted only if no work has been initiated
  • Partial refunds may be processed in cases where minimal work has been completed
  • No refunds are issued for fully delivered and approved work

Pausing a Plan

For longer-term engagements, clients may pause a Dedicated or On-Demand Plan with reasonable notice. However, designer availability upon resumption is not guaranteed and may vary based on scheduling.

7. Client Responsibilities

For an efficient, smooth, and effective creative process, clients are expected to:

  • Provide clear and complete briefs
  • Submit all necessary content on time (text, images, logos, etc.)
  • Review and respond to drafts promptly
  • Maintain professional communication with Pepples team members

Design is a collaborative process. When both sides fulfill their roles, creative outcomes are not just good — they’re exceptional.

8. Communication Standards

Professional Engagement

We are committed to a respectful and inclusive work environment. Any form of abusive behavior, unprofessional tone, or disrespect toward our team or designers will not be tolerated and may result in service termination without refund.

Working Hours

We operate during Indian Standard Time (IST), Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM. While we aim to respond quickly, inquiries outside working hours may take longer to address.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we maintain high standards in design and service quality, Pepples cannot be held responsible for:

  • Business losses resulting from how designs are used or interpreted
  • Errors that were approved by the client during the review process
  • Delays caused by missing inputs, content, or late feedback

Our role is to deliver creative solutions — their effectiveness depends on usage, deployment, and broader market strategies which lie outside our control.

10. Legal Framework and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert City, e.g., Delhi or Mumbai]. Any changes to jurisdiction or governing law will require written mutual consent.

11. Amendments to Terms

We may revise or update these Terms periodically. All changes will be posted on our website and communicated to active clients when relevant. Continued use of services after an update implies acceptance of the modified Terms.
